Dolan's Works With Diablo Valley College Pre-Apprenticeship Program

We believe there are wonderful careers waiting in the construction industry in the Bay Aea. That's why we are proud to work with Diablo Valley College and its pre-apprenticeship program and bring you this information. 

As one of the partners, Dolan's Patrick Dolan and Romina Gonzalez participated in the Spring graduation ceremony.


If you want to build a career in the important building industry, the Diablo Valley College construction industry, pre-apprenticeship program is an ideal place to start. This fall, you can find details about the program by attending an information session in the BFL Conference Center between 5:30 and 7:00 pm. Visit the college web site for more information.

Apprenticeship is training that is designed to prepare an individual for a career in the skilled crafts and trades. Apprentices develop technical skills, experience the sharing of assignments and see how technical tasks relate specifically with theoretical knowledge and interpretation.

Diablo Valley College is one of three publicly supported two-year community colleges in the Contra Costa Community College District. The larger of DVC’s two campuses is located off Interstate 680 in Pleasant Hill, and the newer San Ramon Campus serves the south county in Dougherty Valley. Between its two campuses, DVC serves more than 22,000 students each semester with a wide variety of program options, including pre-apprenticeship.
